A one-week (10 hour) online course
Different generations have different ways of learning.
With this one-week, online course, you will learn more about your students, and discover something new about your own learning style. The instructor is the foremost authority on the demographics of learning.
Who Should Attend
The course is geared for any teacher, including:
- Part-time instructors of adults.
- Full-time college faculty.
- Consultants and trainers.
- K-12 teachers interested in the Net Generation.
- Teachers in continuing education and leisure learning programs.
The subject matter is primarily geared toward instructors teaching in-person, face-to-face classes.
Time Involved
Participate as little or as much as you want. For maximum benefit, we suggest you log on to the online discussion for one hour a day. And we suggest you spend one hour a day doing the readings and listening to the audio lectures.
One (1.0) CEU (continuing education unit) is available for those completing the course.
Fee.
The fee is $84. The readings for the course are included in this fee.
If you find you cannot attend, substitutions are accepted if made not less than 8 days prior to the first day of the class. Refunds, less $20 for handling, are available when received in writing 20 days before the class. A full voucher/credit towards the next offering is always available. Changes and substitutions are $20 each.
Early registration is encouraged, but it’s never too late to register. Registrations are taken through the first day of the
course or when the course fills.

The text for the course is Generational Learning Styles by Julie Coates. The set of readings will be sent to participants upon registration and is included in the course fee.
