St. Louis
St. Louis is known as “The Gateway to the
West,” and most famous for the stainless
steel Arch that soars 630 feet above the
mighty Mississippi. It also is the birthplace
of Budweiser (1852) and Tums (1930). If
you are a history buff, you might know the
city as the starting place for the Lewis and
Clark expedition or the site of the Dred
Scott trial. What you may not know is that
St. Louis is a city of neighborhoods, each
with its own unique character.
