Come to a LERN Institute and go home a Certified Program Planner (CPP).
The Continuing Professional Education Institute, and Contract Training Institute give you the best professional training available in the field of lifelong learning programming.
Now you can also get the recognition you deserve by passing the CPP exam and becoming a Certified Program Planner.
The purpose of the CPP is to provide a standard of achievement and excellence in the knowledge of lifelong learning programming. The CPP is not a license, but a voluntary program recognized by LERN, the leading organization in lifelong learning in the world.
CPP Specialties
More than 300 professionals are studying for or have received their CPP designation. With
our Spring 1999 Continuing Professional Education Institute and Contract Training
Institute, we will offer you your choice of one of two specialty areas in preparing for
and taking the CPP exam:
Continuing professional education
(such as seminars and conferences)
Contract training
Now you can study and prepare for examination in the area of your programming specialty, making the CPP even more valuable to you.
Here's How It Works
Register for either the Continuing Professional Education Institute or Contract Training
Institute and indicate that you want to study for the CPP.
In addition to your Institute readings, you will then also receive a Study Guide for the CPP exam.
After the Institute, you will have the option to take the CPP exam the following day, which most participants do, or to wait and take the exam later proctored at your office.
Benefits
The CPP award benefits include a Gold CPP medal suitable for framing; framed CPP
certificate; CPP pin; press release; letter to your supervisor; maintenance of your CPP
records; invitation to be awarded your CPP at the next annual LERN conference; CPP ribbon
at future LERN conferences; and other CPP benefits and information updates.
How To Sign Up
After your application is accepted for either the Continuing Professional Education
Institute or Contract Training Institute, you will be asked whether you would like to
study for and take the CPP exam. If you have additional questions about the CPP exam, feel
free to call Angela Sweet at LERN, 1-800-678-LERN (5376) or send e-mail to info@lern.org
