With institutional support for continuing education and lifelong learning more fragile than ever, documenting support and satisfaction and usage with surveys of your participants is an excellent data based and unbiased tool to forward to your institutional leaders. This parks and recreation department found out that 95% of the residents rated the quality of the parks as excellent or very good, 94% rated the quality of their recreation programs as excellent or very good. Some 80% of the residents said they learn about the programs through the print brochure. And then 75% of the respondents said they keep the brochure until the next issue arrives, with 60% indicating that at least two people read the brochure. Survey for data. Use the data to make decisions. And use the survey data to justify and support your program’s value to your central administrators.
