This year we received over 120 nominations. The judging was, once again, most difficult. We regret we cannot recognize all of the worthy nominations. The judging would have been easier if we, I mean they, had received some bribes, but once again the judging was impartial. As always the award winners here are the best, most advanced and new ideas in lifelong learning. They come from a variety of institutional settings. The purpose of the awards is not just to honor some outstanding work, but to showcase the newest ideas so all of us can benefit from the best most state-of-the-art ideas. So steal these ideas, folks.
If you are an Organizational Member of LERN, you should submit one or two nominations for awards this year. The 2005 awards deadline is October 1, 2004. They will be announced at the annual convention in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, November, 2004. LERN will begin accepting nominations in June 2004. If you're not a LERN Member, come explore all that LERN Membership has to offer! |
